The We Paved the Way Room

This room honours 500 female-identifying and gender non-binary Australians who have paved the way in fields including Art, Community, Literature, Politics, Science, Sport and General Awesomeness. They have made flourishing contributions to our national life and culture and they show that gender should not be a barrier to success.

The “We paved the way” room features an old-school rocking chair, gender quality themed vintage book stack, heritage YWCA art and timeline of Australian feminist achievements. A perfect recipe for an empowering Sydney trip!
